How does the NH 20–400 work?
Two-stage on-site nitrogen generation
Stage 1 – Nitrogen generator:
Your PSA nitrogen generator produces standard nitrogen at around 99.9% purity.
Stage 2 – Nitrogen purifier:
The NH receives this nitrogen and injects a small, precisely controlled amount of hydrogen. In the reactor, hydrogen reacts with residual oxygen to form water and heat—no harmful by-products. The result is ultra-high-purity nitrogen at >99.999% and up to 99.9999%.
This aproach:
- Cuts feed-air demand by up to 40% versus generating ultra-high purity N₂ directly.
